South Kesteven District Council voted-in a new chairman yesterday with Stamford councillor David Nalson stepping up from vice-chairman.
Coun Nalson replaces the out-going Rosemary Kayberry-Brown, who began yesterday’s meeting by calling for a minute’s silence for “Grantham’s most famous daughter”.
Coun Kayberry-Brown’s year as chairman was roundly praised with the positive comments led by Coun Pam Bosworth.
Coun Kayberry-Brown said she “thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.”
