Around 50 people turned out to Grantham Museum to watch Margaret Thatcher’s funeral service this morning.
Councillor and Grantham Museum’s Richard Davies told the Journal he is “really impressed” by the turn-out of people to watch the coverage live on a big screen.
Also present was leader of Lincolnshire County Council Martin Hill. He said: “I thought it was appropriate to come and pay my respects here at the museum.”
Meanwhile, Grantham businessman Ged McKnightsaid “the people of Grantham needed to come together” for the funeral.
