CADETS from Grantham visited pensioners at Newton House nursing home over Christmas to bring some festive cheer.
The cadets from 47F Grantham Squadron Air Training Corps delivered a Christmas hamper after a group challenge to collect items from home to help brighten Christmas for others.
Flight Lieutenant Gary Allen, commanding officer of 47F Grantham Squadron, said: “The cadets were given a challenge to bring in food and drink items that would be appreciated by people at Christmas to create a hamper to be donated to a local nursing home.
“The response from the cadets was impressive.”
The cadets then had to choose a nursing home in the Grantham area and opted for one with a connection to a 47F cadet.
Cadet Corporal Alice Cox has a grandmother at the Barrowby Road nursing home so the squadron decided to take the hamper there.
Flt Lt Allen said: “The cadets arrived at Newton House and were warmly received by the staff on duty who took delivery of the hamper and thanked the cadets for their efforts.”
