Recently there has been some uncalled for, unneccesary bad press about Grantham’s community radio station.
I personally applied and joined Gravity FM about 18 months ago. At this time the station was struggling - mainly due to the loss of many Government grants.
The station would soon have had to be shut down, due to lack of funding.
Around six months ago came a change of directors. New blood on the management committee, new presenters together with a new state of the art studio.
Gravity FM is now on a really solid foundation and is improving weekly.
The members at Gravity are a very dedicated team of unpaid volunteers, with a focus on giving Grantham its own radio station for many years.
They always welcome new ideas, new members and your support. Please tune in and have a listen, just like many listeners do already.
Its 97.2 FM or www.gravityfm.net and listen live. You won’t be disappointed.
