PRESIDENT of the Rotary Club of Grantham Peter Berry has accepted a special citation on behalf of the club.
The Rotary Club of Grantham was nominated as the best in the 25 to 50 membership band for 2011/12 in recognition of the club’s work locally and nationally and for taking on seven new members.
Mr Berry said he was delighted to accept the award on behalf of the Club and paid tribute to all the members for their total commitment during the year.
Rotarian Paul Wilson received a presidential citation on behalf of Rotary International President Ray Burnham for his work in promoting the Rotary Global Swimarathon.
So far the event has raised $100,000 towards End Polio.
