Belvoir Castle will be hosting its third annual Fun Run on September 15.
Runners (and walkers) will have a choice of a 10k route or a more lesuirely 5k circuit through the beautiful grounds of the Belvoir Castle estate.
The event is being held by the Vale of Belvoir Lions, who are seeking corporate sponsorship for the event.
It will be free for spectators to enter the grounds and watch. To register now go to www.belvoircastlefunrun.org.uk Entry fee is £10 per adult and £5 for children under 16. Family entry (2+2) costs £25. To register on the day adult entry will cost £12, children £6 and family entry will be £30.
The chosen charities this year are Help for Heroes, Macmillan Cancer Support and LIVES. In 2012 the event raised £7,000, and the organisers are hoping to beat that this year.
