A driver who failed to provide a breath test to police was banned from driving for a year.
Carolyn Scothern of Larch Close in Grantham admitted the offence which came about after she was stopped by police in Dysart Road.
Chris Pye-Smith, defending, said: “She was dressed in a dressing gown when she was pulled over. She was not expecting to drive but took a call saying one of her children was sick. It was an unplanned, unexpected piece of driving.”
As well as being disqualified from driving for 12 months, 47-year-old Scothern was fined £325 and must pay costs of £85 and a £32 surcharge.
