Police pulled over a man who was found to be driving on a provisional driving licence which had expired more than seven years ago.
Ivor Perkins of High Street, Leadenham, was more than twice over the drink-drive limit when he was pulled over by police in Main Street, Leadenham.
Perkins admitted drink-driving and driving without a licence. He was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £450. He must also pay £85 in costs and a £45 surcharge.
Bill Fraser, defending, told the court 59-year-old Perkins plans to serve his driving ban, pass his driving test and “continue with his life”.
