An evening of electronic music will be hosted by Oscar’s Wine Bar on Thursday, May 23.
Dik Ellis and Electraset will take to the stage. Ellis will perform a one-off solo set of self-penned numbers taken from his ‘80s recordings Destroyinthe Soul and Too Love and to Lose. These have a hard-hitting synthesizer sound influenced by the likes of Soft Cell, Depeche Mode, Killing Joke and even Alice Cooper. Backing him on keyboards will be Wild Rice Arnold.
Supporting Ellis will be Electraset, who have just landed a full UK tour supporting ‘80s legends B-Movie. The trio play a brand of electro-pop which features the vocals of Karen Whiting backed by the keyboard and percussion of Roy Mullin and Steve Bonshor.
There will also be an ‘80s themed disco throughout the night. The evening starts at 8pm with the fist act on at 8.45pm. Free entry.
