The seventh annual Lincolnshire Tae Kwon-Do Championships were held at The Meres leisure centre on Saturday.
Organised by local instructors Malcolm Scholes, Jill Pearce and Daniel Pearce, the martial arts tournament has gone from strength to strength and attracted mmore than 300 competitors from as far afield as Newark, Stamford, Corby Glen, Sleaford, Lincoln, Melton and Loughborough.
The youngest entrant was just five years old and the eldest was 64. Divisions were decided by taking into account competitors’ age height, weight and grade.
In the afternoon, World and British champion black belts gave demonstration displays of their skills.
Local exponents of the martial harvested a total of eight gold, six silver and 10 bronze trophies.
