Many jobs would go if hunting was abolished

SO, Mr Mills want to see all kinds of countryside sports and hunting abolished (Letters, Journal, January 6).

Does he realise that it employs thousands of people, from farmers, vets, stable staff, horse trainers, dog trainers and even bookmakers, when the horses go point-to-point and horse racing.

What next? Ban football, as they use a cowhide for the leather boots and balls?

Saddle up and tally-ho.
