Get along to Easton Walled Gardens later this month for some old-fashioned pumpkin rolling.
Easton is hosting the competition during the school half-term holidays.
Ursula Cholmeley of Easton Walled Gardens said: “Pumpkin rolling is an annual tradition bringing the whole family together for some old-fashioned fun.
“It is a fabulously simple concept; simply pick a pumpkin and hurl it down the gardens as far as possible. The person who gets their pumpkin the furthest wins!”
The event will be held from October 24 to October 28.
As well as pumpkin rolling there will also be a whole host of activities, from feeding snails, making crafts, collages and cress hedgehogs and playing in the den to exploring the Yew Tunnel and insect spotting.
Ursula said: “We’ve also updated our wren trail, and will be running a number of activity sessions on how to plant bulbs – so this year, children can plant in our meadow, helping to create a lasting legacy at Easton.”
Entry to Easton Walled Gardens is £6.25 for Adults and £2.00 for Children. No booking necessary.
