MAY we, by way of your letters page, thank our customers - many of whom we have served for a considerable number of years - for their support during our time in Welby Street.
We have been very touched by gifts we have received, cards bearing best wishes and the considerable number of people who have just called in to offer their best wishes for our retirement.
We would just like to correct an error in the Journal report of our retirement.
The shop in Welby Street has been open for 51 years not 61 as reported. My father opened the business in 1961 and I took over in 1971.
