THE Trust, which runs a Grantham academy, has today (Friday) apologised after a Department of Education investigation revealed ‘serious failings’ in financial management.
The investigation heavily criticised key individuals within the Priory Federation of Academies Trust - The Government has referred the matter to the police.
Chief executive of the Trust Richard Gilliland, who was allegedly earning £200,000 a year, resigned before Easter.
