GRANTHAM Town returned to winning ways and rose to the top of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One South with a 3-1 victory at Ilkeston on Saturday.
Gio Carchedi put the Gingerbreads in front after 35 minutes.
The home side replied through Jack Watts two minutes later, but Paul Grimes restored Grantham’s lead two minutes before half time.
Martin Ball made the game safe with a stunning 65th free kick.
