Ignoring a police direction led to a 20-year-old getting into trouble for the second time in one night.
Jordan Doll of Manor Drive, Great Gonerby, was ejected from Faces in Westgate after fighting with another man, the court heard.
Daniel Pietryka, prosecuting, said: “He had been ejected from the nightclub for fighting inside with another male.”
Police officers issued Doll with the order at around 2am barring him from being in Westgate. Doll refused to sign the order but was driven home to Great Gonerby by officers.
However, at 2.50am that same night Doll was seen back in Westgate.
Doll, defending himself, said he returned to Westgate as he felt he did not deserve to be punished.
He said: “I wouldn’t say I was fighting. I was talking with someone and then he got aggressive. I was about to walk away and then got chucked out.”
When asked why he returned after being dropped off in Great Gonerby, he said: “I felt I didn’t do anything wrong so I went back.”
Doll was fined £100 and must also pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.
