SHOUTING and swearing at police officers and staggering about drunk were acts admitted by a 20-year-old Grantham man in court this week.
Alastair Noon, of Green Hill Road, admitted to using threatening behaviour in the Market Place in Grantham on January 15.
Jill Derby, prosecuting, told the court: “He appeared to be heavily in drink. He was using foul language and he was abusive, shouting and swearing.”
Refusing the heed officers’ advice and calm down, he was arrested.
Representing himself, Noon told the court he couldn’t remember what had happened but said he felt “quite stupid”.
He was fined £35 and told to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
