Parish councillors in Old Somberby congratulated Betty North for 30 years of service at their recent meeting.
Betty has been on Old Somberby Parish Council since May 1983 and has served without a break ever since.
She was chairman of the council in the past and said it had been a prilege to serve her village.
Betty was presented with a framed certificate by current chairman David Holmes to commemorate the occasion. Also present during the celebration was Lincolnshire County Council leader Martin Hill and local residents.
