Police are appealing for information after a man was left with a fractured skull following a night out in Grantham.
The 34-year-old was found at 4.20am in Castlegate on August 18. He was taken by ambulance to Lincoln County Hospital and later transferred to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield with a bleed on the brain and a fractured skull. Police are appealing to any witnesses to the assault to come forward.
DS Jenny Lovatt said: “I would urge anyone with information to contact me and tell me what you can, even if it’s just a small detail. It is vital that we have all the information available in order to understand how this man came by such serious injuries.”
Three men were arrested in connection with the incident and are currently on bail pending further enquiries.
