A scooter rider has been taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in an accident on the A1 at Colsterworth today.
Police are appealing for information after a scooter collided with a lorry.
Police were alerted to the incident at Colsterworth at 11.15am this morning (Friday).
Sections of both the north and south bound carriageways needed to be closed to allow the air ambulance to land.
The male scooter rider was taken by air ambulance to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham suffering from serious injuries.
