A schoogirl has won two awards for school attendance and stamp collecting.
Maisie Crawford, 11, of Caythorpe, never missed a day of school during her seven years at her local primary school and won an Outstanding Attendance certificate. Maisie has also won a trophy for her stamp collecting. She was a member of a stamp club at the school, run by Joy Lucas (pictured with Maisie, top), who nominated the group for an award to be presented at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre where Stamp Active, which encourages youngsters to take an interest in stamps, were taking part. Maisie was chosen from the group to win The Young Stamp Collector of the Year Award. Maisie said she was very “proud” to receive both awards. Her mum, Marie, (pictured above) said Maisie had been very dedicated and helped the younger pupils. Maisie is now going on to KGGS.
