Staff and parents from My Nursery in Conduit Lane, Grantham, ran the 5k Race for Life at Nottingham Pierrepont on Sunday and have so far raised more than £500 for Cancer Research UK.
Nursery manager Roxanne Michelson said they were so pleased with the result would be running again next year. She said a number of their families had been affected by cancer and one staff member, Shelly, recently found out her father Peter had terminal cancer. The group is still fundraising.
