Grantham Town this week announced that former chairman and director Roger Booth has accepted their invitation to be become president of the club.
Roger is a lifelong supporter of the Gingerbreads and helped the club through a difficult period during his spell as chairman.
Town chairman Peter Railton said he was delighted to welcome Roger as president.
Peter said: “Chairman Peter Railton commented “The last president was George Freeston who was a tremendous ambassador for the club. Roger is well known and respected in football circles and has been a tremendous servant to this club over many years. Just as George was, he will be our figurehead, particularly on match days when we entertain visitors from other clubs.”
