Grantham martial arts enthusiast Daniel Pearce won a silver medal at the Welsh Tae Kwon-Do Championships in Cardiff.
Thirty-year-old fifth degree black belt Daniel contested the men’s higher degrees black belt patterns, with a record entry for the event held at the University of Wales Institute.
Daniel, who trains at the King’s School club with instructor Malcolm Scholes, has been putting in extra training of late in preparation for the prestigious World Championships next month. He finished fourth in the English Championships back in March.
