I could not believe what I was reading in the Journal recently, about the impending closure of Harrison House on Dysart Road, Grantham.
Just what are the powers-that-be thinking?
This is a very important place used by many vulnerable old people, who need special care for so many reasons.
What is going to happen to these people who need that extra care?
When the councillors have saved a few pounds, will they then send these people home? Ordinary families and/or care homes can’t cope - they haven’t got the facilities nor expertise.
The new place on Springfield Road will take years before it’s up and running.
I demand to know what will happen to those lovely caring people who run the place?
