May I, through your excellent Journal, describe a scene which can only be sensational.
In my retired and unemployed state, I have over the past 10 days, witnessed nature at its most glorious.
The two trees outside of my flat have developed in a truly remarkable way. At first there were specks of discernible green shoots, similar to the ones our Chancellor would love to see, and then over the next 10 days, gradually those shoots have grown until the whole of the trees are dressed overall.
All this natural display is afforded me by a gift of the ability to see.
A sight not available to some of my fellow residents, and I thank God that my disabiltiy is one of deafness.
