What a brilliant job Di Ablewhite did in tracing the relatives of the lost airmen that crashed near Long Bennington.
To spend 11 years doing so is truly a labour of love, and for that she deserves the gratitude of us all.
It is not how or where you die in a war that’s important, it’s being prepared to enlist in the first place that matters. Once again though Di you deserve a medal of your own for making sure these brave men are never forgotten. For that, I thank you.
