A play about about the vicar of a small rural parish with a dwindling congregation comes to Leadenham Village Hall next week.
Entertaining Angels, by Brendan Murray, tells the story of Rev Stephen Parr who is faced with an uncompromising church warden and a lonely widower, but his attempts to please everyone are proving difficult. Then a stranger comes along looking for shelter and shakes the very foundations of Stephen’s faith.
The play takes place on Wednesday, May 22, at 7.30pm. Tickets, including a buffet, cost £14 (£13 concessions) from Hilary Proctor on 01400 272835 or email hilary@leadenhampc.co.uk
