Kesteven went behind very early on from a line-out for a well worked try.
Ks pressured and Allen went through and under the posts, with Grinney kicking the conversion for the lead which was never surrendered.
Taggart picked up a loose ball and went over into the corner. Tank sliced through the Syston defence for Ks’ third try, with Grinney converting again for a 19-5 half time lead.
Ks added quickly to their tally after the break, Fletcher taking quick ball to go over for a well worked try. Grinney’s kick increased the lead.
However, Syston did rally back, going over into the corner for their second try.
With the end of the match fast approaching, Chunky sent the ball backwards for Singer to collect and storm through the defence for a good solo try.
