The Labour Group leader, Charmaine Morgan, wrote about the ‘bedroom tax’ (Journal, April 26), but I’m struggling to understand the meaning of the paragraph saying: “where a room is too small to sleep another person, residents would be expected to sleep in the living room.”
What does this really mean, where was the “another” person before?
Why would two people want to sleep in a small room? Where were they sleeping before the living room?
Does this tax involve extra people moving into your house or is it that one bedroom is bricked up? Forcing the person onto the sofa?
Did she mean too small to sleep a person not another person?
