Grantham East was won by Linda Wootten for the Conservatives.
Linda now joins her husband Ray as a county councillor.
Linda said: “I feel absolutely delighted. I’d like to thank the public for voting for me and putting their faith in me.”
Linda said the town’s pothole problem will be one of her priorities.
