Colsterworth Rural was won by Conservative candidate Bob Adams.
Coun Adams said; “I’m very happy and am glad I got the right result to take over from Roy Chapman my predecessor who did such a wonderful job in the division and I’m looking forward to the challenges.”
Coun Adams added: “I think a lot will depend on the overall results - which Conservative councillors have been successful - and obviously the leader of the group will have a fair old headache sorting all that out.”
