Artists put on a successful exhibition in the George Centre last week.
Three art groups and a number of individuals exhibited 288 paintings in one of the units in the Grantham shopping centre and 44 pieces were sold.
Grantham Art Club, Vale of Belvoir Art Group and Oasby Art Group were represented and the individuals were Pauline Stephens, Val Rath, Margaret Hayward, Dennis Hobbs, Sarah Watson, Michael Weston and Eddie Lilley.
Organiser Pauline Stephens, of Grantham Art Club, said: “Considering the economic climate we were very, very pleased. We got some very good comments on the standard of artwork. All in all it was a very successful exhibition and we hope to do it again in October.”
