On behalf of the Grantham Music Festival committee I would like to thank everyone who supported the 51st festival. It was an excellent week of wonderful music making.
The adjudicator, Kenneth Hytch, commented throughout on the high standard in all age groups and levels of performance. This is down in part to the superb level of music teaching in the area and to family members who support the performers through all the hard hours of practising.
The biggest thank you must go to the performers themselves, who reminded us once more of the huge wealth of musical talent in the town. Well done!

Remember to look out for next year’s syllabus in October and put the dates of next year’s festival - March 5 to 12 - in your diary now, with the festival concert on Saturday, March 15.
