Bygone village life is to be celebrated at an open day being held at a parish church.
The event is taking place at St Michael and All Angels Church in Heydour on Sunday, May 12, from 10am to 5pm.
On display will be pictures showing life in the past in a number of Lincolnshire villages, including Heydour, Oasby, Wilsford, Ancaster, Barkston and Caythorpe. There will also be pictures of West Willoughby Hall and Ancaster quarries and sandpit, as well as old school photographs.
Other attractions include a display by the Wartime Barkston Heath Research Group, local handicrafts, book stall, plant stall and ‘as good as new’ gift stall.
Donations will go to Heydour Church funds.
