A Grantham nightclub has been taken over and is attracting top music acts just a few weeks after it reopened.

Vibe in Westgate was taken over a few weeks ago by Lee Collins and Paul Selby.

On Saturday (April 20) chart-toppers Platnum will make an appearance performing their new single “Love You Tomorrow”. Doors will open at 10.30pm and entry costs £2 before midnight and £4 after. Doors close at 3am. The following Saturday Ultrabeat will be performing at the club with doors open until 4am.

The new owners will rename the club ‘Legend’s within a few weeks. Mr Collins worked at the club for several years when it was Club It. The club is installing a new sound system and has a 3D laser show.

Marc Mackay, promotions, and assistant manager Charly Berwick are also part of the new team.

Mr Mackay said: “We want to get more people out in town. I know a lot of people go out in the town at weekends and if we can keep them in town with great offers and a good venue and we can get it right then everybody will be winners. It will be good for the bars and taxis and everybody will benefit.”

Miss Berwick said: “Everybody has been wanting the club to open again. All my friends used to come here before. I am sure we will get them back again.”
