The bells of St John the Baptist Church in Croxton Kerrial were rung half muffled on Monday night as a mark of respect for Baroness Thatcher.
Ringing master Andrew Shipman said: “We rang for an hour-and-a-half. Politics aside, Margaret Thatcher was our country’s first woman Prime Minister, one of our longest serving PM’s and she was born just up the road in Grantham.”
