Grantham Tennis Club’s ladies were the only team to have a match at the weekend.
They played East Bridgford A at home at Arnoldfield in good conditions and triumphed 55 games to 53 in a very close encounter.
The victorious team comprised Jackie Thompson, Angela Anderson, Elaine Maplethorpe, Judi Croudace, Elaine Pulfree and Rachel Pulfree.
