Preparations are almost complete for this year’s St George’s Day family event.
The Grantham Events Group will once again put on the event in St Peter’s Hill, this year on Sunday, April 21, with lots of activities for all ages.
There will be stalls, live music from the likes of Premier Cru and a choir from Isaac Newton Primary School, dance demonstrations by Beth Cresswell School of Dance, Morris dancers, free children’s rides and more. St George and his dragon will also be mingling with the crowds. Grantham Museum will be open, plus there will be crafts in the Guildhall Arts Centre ballroom. Grantham Events Group is behind the annual event, with support from South Kesteven District Council. It will take place on the green between 10am and 4pm. All are welcome.
