A MAN who was attacked in the street in the early hours of Saturday morning needed hospital treatment.
Police were called to College Street in Grantham at around 3.40am after reports a man was assaulted. A 26-year-old Grantham man was arrested and questioned before being released on police bail pending further enquiries. A police spokesman said the victim was treated at Grantham Hospital for a non-life-threatening head injury and discharged.
