Veteran darts player Lol Pickin won the Vale of Belvoir League Singles competition for the third year running at The Plough in Stathern on Friday night.
Seventy-six-year-old Lol said: “To my knowledge, winning three on the trot has never been achieved before in the history of the league.”
There was some outstanding darts played on the night, one of the best performances coming from Woolsthorpe Social Club’s Anthony Ablewhite who played brilliantly all evening, and only lost to Lol in the final.
The competition was well supported by a good crowd in spite of the weather.
