Well-known businessman Paul Sutherland has had a printing shop in Grantham for 28 years.

He opened Prontaprint in the Market Place in 1984, deciding on a change of career path after several years working for a Grantham-based firm.

The business was a success and remains in the Market Place today, now called Printhub after a change in name seven years ago. Paul, 63, employs four people.

Originally from Cleethorpes, Paul moved to Grantham with his wife Kay in 1973. They moved to allow Paul to take up a job at the Grantham head office of ATS, while Kay took a teaching job at National Junior School.

Paul and Kay share a passion for walking, taking regular trips to the Lake District for long walks. Paul particularly enjoys hillwalking. An ambition of theirs is to walk 190 miles coast to coast from the Irish Sea to the North Sea. They hope to embark on the walk when they retire, and expect it to take around 14 days to complete.

Paul used to belong to a rifle and pistol club based in Ancaster.
