St John the Baptist Church at Londonthorpe has a rich history of music in the village, with annual music events and our weekly church services. This is now under threat!
Very sadly, the organ that was donated tothe church some time ago has broken down and we can no longer get parts. We have tried every avenue but are left with no alternative but to replace this beautiful instrument.
We are now looking for someone to donate an organ that they no longer have use for. It does not have to be a full church organ. In fact, the perfect size would be that of an upright piano with organ feature. Please, if you know of anyone who would be able to donate, can you ask them to contact me (Tel: 07973 772495).
