Two independent candidates remain in the running for police and crime commissioner in Lincolnshire after the Conservative and Labour candidates received too few votes.
Conservative Richard Davies and Labour’s Paul Gleeson are now out of the race, with independents David Bowles and Alan Hardwick now waiting to hear who will step into the role.
The second preference count has just begun in the Lincoln Drill Hall, where votes have been tallied up since early this afternoon.
More to follow.
